Yeah. I've only been as fast as I have in big groups of bikes. When we're all doing those speeds. As long as I'm quicker than the slowest guy I should be good to go if the cops show up.
It does suck though when you're giving it all and only doing 150 something and a "busa goes blowin' by ya like you're standing still!

i just read about the big guy going over 160 on a 99 F4. Well i second that i had mine pinned at 167 it took a while to slow down, but it was the real deal!

I have to say im looking at joining the F4 family upgrading from my 750 nighthawk and these stories have brought me to the point of near creaming my pants. definetly more excited then ever about the bike, just hoping to keep the rubber side down on this one.

Have hit 173 chasing a nc51 to a rally site.
2000 F4 with full race can, no markings on the can so not too sure what it is. Looks a bit likea micron. Dma Race filter, Stock Sprokets, +2 size to main jets, nothing else except a professional dyno by drag racing guys.
This was straight line, not much turns as the twisties and mountain passes here are a little bit sharp.
Speed was from a GPS Unit, as the speedo is 10% off or more...
That's then +- 280 KM/h.....
Oh and no traffic... except the occasional truck here and there.
Must say, doing this on such a small bike wasn't all that fun, prefer it on my blackbird.... more wind protection and a much bigger bike.
