That was friggin' hilarious!!!!!!!!! And TRUE!!!!!!!!! I'm glad that I don't do any real video editing or else I'd have to actually own a Mac as well. Not a happy thought!

Ugh you people drive me nuts, the macintosh platform has been proven more stable over many test over many years. No one is forced to use a macintosh for graphic design, the same programs on the mac are avaiable on windows based machines. So people use macintoshes for a reason...

What reason is that? So they have to get a Windows simulator so they can run the normal everyday programs and games that the rest of the world does?

So why isn't there a Mac in every household vice an IBM clone? Why do more than 50% of Mac owners ALSO own an IBM clone?

Because companies started to use windows based machines, so people who would want to do their work at home also needed window based machines, and people staretd buying home computers that they were use to as opposed to what was noted as clearly better during the early 90's

In the early 90's mac was concidered the best by alot of people but I think that IBM and clones have come a long way since then. and until Maybe more recently mac has been unable to keep up.

I am Mac Tech, and a A+ tech so im not only using macs but i have been trained on both and prefer macs. Plus i just really like the platform and company.

Well, I know that you've gotta be pretty intelligent Kodex, 'cause you didn't just go and blame Bill Gates for everything.

When Windows 95 was out I'd have to agree that Mac had the best OS out; for normal people.......but I still hold that any version of DOS and any Windows 3.X are still the most stable OS's ever built. Hands down, no aurguments. 95 was the biggest pos ever made, other than ME.

I guess it just all boils down to which OS you are most comfortable with with mac OS X and Windows XP there really arent too many diffrences these days.
