Hondatech,

who do you buy your gear through?

I agree with you in sticking with one person/business, as you will get better service and prices.  I used Second Look for the past three years as I bought every accessory and piece of gear from them, and they had me show my bike at their booth at the dealer-only show here in Indy.  The service I received was tremendous, but they are now under new management and the prices absolutely suck.

I am in need of a new dealer that I can order with over the phone and/or internet.

Thanks in advance!

I do my buying through the dealer I work for, but deal with one vendor personally. He is the Sullivans rep. They are a distributor of a bunch of stuff. Joe Rocket, Sidi, HJC, Nelson Rigg, and some other stuff. But they don't deal with individuals. You can deal with the dealership I work for if you want, I'm told our internet prices are good. www.zanottimotor.com But like I said, you are usually better off dealing with a local dealer you can walk into and actually handle things before you buy.

You won't find too many people stocking too much ing the way of sportbike gear. We're a tiny group of riders in the grand scheme of things. And the sportbikers who are responsible and actually looking for gear is an even smaller group. A dealer just can't sell enough sportbike related stuff to make it pay to stock it.

I'll be at VIR this weekend from about 3am Friday night till the races are done on Sunday (around 6).

If you want to make the haul on out to watch some racing and hang out in the pits, come on out to the Cycle Jam.  It's Memorial Day weekend.  National Endurance races on Friday, Sportsman sprints on Saturday, and National Sprints on Sunday.  Great weekend for spectating.  Lots of fast mofos there for the Nationals and a huge turnout (there were at least 60 bikes in the 600nv sportsman races last year Shocked ).
