I really hated this movie. From starting with my bike (silver/red F4) to be the bike that gets wrecked first, to the GAY hot pink/silver 'busa. The race scenes in Fast and Furious were ten times better.
Maybe being surrounded by people who OBVIOUSLY have never owned nor ridden a bike cheering at the most unrealistic parts has something to do with me hating this movie.
This dude sitting next to me asks out loud,"Is NOS the same for bikes as cars? Do they use a 100 shot like cars?"
I just slowly nodded my head no..........same NOS, much less used.
Let me know what you guys think.

I would love to but it seems they are not bringing it to London, Ontario.
I guess we were blessed and saved by the sounds of things ... I have read many reviews on this and I don't think there was one that was good.

It's good business for dealers thought. My local dealer who I work with has theaters calling him asking if he'll put up a bike in their lobbies. He's taking GSXR 1k's :-)
It will generate a couple of sales and didn't cost him (or other dealers) anything.

HAAAA My friend downloaded it on his computer the other night. I haven't seen it yet but it seems really ghey. Dave from Marmo was asked to make a "guest appearance" in downtown Atlanta at some movie theater where Marmo had a booth or something. He asked me to use my bike because he just sold his 900rr. He asked me and was like please say no, please say no...

I'm talking stunts like jumping in dirt, passing two bikes in a race then jumping up on the tank and standing and the other two bikes not catching up? Even though he's not on the throttle anymore and the other two bikes are going full bore?
A 600 going up against a "busa and expecting to win? When the 600 tops out at about 155? What is the deal with this stupid unrealistic movie?
I hear that there's another bike movie coming out this summer. I hope it's better than this.

You can get "cruise control" for you bike. a little clip to hold the throttle wherever you want.
I don't know a busa's numbers, but I'm guessing an f4 or f4i would come dam close to a busa in 0-60 and 60' times and maybe a little farther. I would never ride a busa. Nothing down low.... now slap a turbo on it.......

Ok, now how many sport bike owners do you know that have cruise control on their bikes? Get real man! I know exactly what you're talking about; I put one on my '77 CB750. But I would never even think about putting one on my CBR. I also think that 0-60 times between a 1300 which is bigger and heavier than a 600 would be the same. But in the movie they just kept going; all the way until the 600 topped out. A six hundred maxs out at what? 160? A 'busa goes to what? 220? 180? Big difference.
I'm just saying no one in thier right minds would race a busa with a 600 in a race with no set finish line. Or a finish line that allowed the busa to get above 150. It's pointless. The 600 will lose every time.
The whole movie is completely unrealistic. And I know, I know: it's a MOVIE! I should just get over it; but I can't!
The fast and the Feable ruined the turner market for all of us. I've got cops pulling me over once a month because my cat back is too loud. That never happened before that movie.
And yeah, I will laugh my ass off at all of these idiots who go and buy a GSXR 1000 as their first bike and wreck it while braking in a turn the first month they have it. But I'm not looking forward to having cops pay even MORE attention to me while I'm on bike than they already do!
It's hard enough right now for those of us that have a brain larger than a peanut to just go out and ride and have a good time as it is. OF COURSE we all speed and maybe do some crazy crap while we're out. But we're not going down the middle of the interstate doing a wheelie at 110 mph while wearing shorts, flip flops, and a T-shirt with our girldriend on the back wearing a bikini.
But the cops won't see that difference. They'll group us all together. "Every one on sportbikes are 18 year old kids out to do stunts and impress their friends at the expense of safety to themselves and the public at large." I guarantee that's what all of the precinct seargents are telling all he beat cops out there. "And now that this movie Biker Boyz is in theaters it will only be worse".
I'm 28, not 18. I just hate being judged before I can even speak a word. Just wait. I'm telling you there will be a backlash to this movie and it won't be good. Just wait.
Especially due to all the stupid ass stunts. And Smoke riding to the funeral without a helmet on? Not good. If they did all this stupid crap while wearing full leathers and safety gear it might have been different. But nope: just jeans and coats.
Oh well, I'll get off my soap box now.
