SHIRT DESIGN
« on: August 5, 2002, 01:58:14 PM »

Okay, so I'm working with a guy who makes shirts.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Images?  Ideas???

Right now I'm leaning toward something simple, i.e. one side would have text of "Life may begin at 30, but it doesn't get real interesting until about 150" and the other side would have a Honda wing and www.cbr600f4.com

I'm *very* open to suggestions here!!  They need to be quick though.

I'm still not sure on pricing, I have to get the quote back and go from there.  However, it's not going to be anything real exhorbitant.

What about the "Racing makes heroin addiction...." quote?

Have the wing and cbr600F4.com on the front left breast and the quote on the back.

Just a suggestion.

My not have the JeF4y Racing on the back with "Life may begin at 30, but it doesn't get real interesting until about 150" and have the Honda Wing on the front with www.cbr600f4.com on the front. I will design a shirt and post what I mean.

I like Joes idea. That Eagan quote rules. A t-shirt would get moe use than a button down would, with me at least.

Definately a T-shirt...
The quote on the back maybe imposed over top of a large F4 (like the one on the side fairing) with the website along the bottom.
I like the wing and CBR on the front like in C-CKids picture.

Man there are so many cool ideas for CBR/F4 shirts...

It would definitely be a T-Shirt, although sweatshirts would also be available.

I don't know about colors.
Red shirt, white letters?
White shirt, black letters?
Black shirt, white letters?

etc...

As for complex designs and overlays, I'm not sure what will be feasible.  I'm working with a screen printer, and I don't believe he has the real high-tech equip which will do full multi-color pictures.  I believe that each color would need its own screen.  If that's the case, it's still possible, but would be more expensive.

Again, I don't know where we're at for pricing or how complex the designs can be.

I'll fwd this thread to him and ask for his comments...

Keep up the comments and thought process though!!!  And CC Kid, GREAT work on the visual.  Once we nail down a few more options, if you could create visuals we can vote...

I like kid's layout great only in a tshirt form.

The web address looks good at the top of the shirt, that way it will get noticed well.

I like the "30...150" a lot too, but there are hundreds of possibilities.  Jeff just pick one you like and stick with it  Grin

just my 2 cents

White T-shirt are major dirt and grease magnets. I think a red one would be better at hiding dirt and stuff. Yeah the white will look good new but won't look new for long.

I like the t-shirt design also but I would put the website on the front and back. It can't hurt to plug to much Cheesy
I would buy to if I had the option a red one and a white.

Keep up the ideas I think that they look great.

go with the red. white too easy to soil. black too hot. the button down wouldn't be bad either.

Well how many people here actually own red t shirts I know I do but they are all Montreal Canadiens t shirts and at that I only have 2 red ones the rest ore white. I think white and possibly grey or blue would be better choices than red. Mind you that is just one persons opinion what do the rest of you guys think?

The only thing I don't like is the qute on the back. It looks out of place. It needs to be a different font or something. And I still vote for the Eagan quote about addiction. Shit, I just got addicted by association fron stopping by the track one day watching Joe and company sweat and spend money. If the wife hadn't stepped in, I'd have an FZR 400 and an empty bank account. But, I digress.  Wink
