30 is probably about right. It depends on how you want to ride it. 35 is not bad for the street, riding a bit less agressivly. Sounds like you need stiffer springs.

?? The bike is bone stock! stiffer springs??? nothing really wrong with it now, just trying to make it handle better (seems a little heavy in transitions compared to the f4), and get better mi out of tires. i don't usually ride too hard, but generaly scuff all the way to the last 1/8 in from the edge of tire. shouldn't the stock springs handle this?? thanks for the input.

Dependes on how much you weigh. Stock springs are for someone around 150 lbs or so.

I agree. Either you are not measuring correctly, are doing conversions from SAE to metric incorrectly, need better helpers, are turning the adjustors the wrong way, or something is wrong with the bike. Where do you live? If you are near me (San Jose, CA) maybe I can take a look.
Oooopps, Just looked at your profile, you are not very near me. Might be a bit inconvienient to ride it over to my house.
