Hello all....I'm new to this forum, but not to riding...
I have a 2000 CBR600F4. I love the bike, and want to keep riding it...so I need some motor help.
My clutch was burned so I replaced the plates with a Barnett system (fiber plates, steel plates, & springs) very basic. so...i drained the oil, soaked the fiber plates, removed the clutch cover...and this probalby was my mistake, i removed the sensor from the case vs. just disconnecting it.
put the plates in...although the manual says there are green and purple plates, barnett does not differentiate b/n color or size...put the cover and springs...tightened everything up...now the engine won't turn over....
That sensor, is a Ignition Pulse Generator. What does that do/mean? Is it really as simple as what the part is named? I'm going crazy, because I've replaced clutch plates before on this same bike and I never had a problem.
Please I need help with this...I missed the entire weekend of riding...here in jersey, we don't get a bunch of nice weekends!
thanks, hani 2000 CBR600F4
