cbr600f4 Discussion Forum   Main Forum   Wrenching   cbrf4 wont run? can anyone help me? « previous next » Pages: [1] Author Topic: cbrf4 wont run? can anyone help me?  (Read 1214 times) JK Newbie Offline Posts: 2 cbrf4 wont run? can anyone help me? « on: November 15, 2005, 11:53:42 AM » hey everyone, im new to the motorcycle world so i dont know alot. i also dont have a lot of cash and im trying to get things done myself that i can! heres the problem. i laid down my 2000 cbr600f4. i tore up the front fender, right fairing, right bar-end,right lever, right rear-set, and knocked the forks off-line. i have priced the parts and im working on that. the thing is that it wont start now. is there any ideas as to why it wont start and some things that i can try before i have to take it to the mechanic. i'll try anything that i can. i miss my bike! Several things may have gone bad when you layed it down on the right side you may have screwed your starter switch or starter have you checked those? I believe the coil is on the right hand side have you checked to see if thats damaged? Hopefully though it may just be a fuse have you checked the 10 amp fuses under the seat to make sure there okay. Other then that without giving us some clues as to how it behaves when you try to start it its kind of hard to help you out anymore at this point I think.
