temp gauge, fi light and nuetral light
« on: November 30, 2004, 12:21:49 AM »

hey guys i new to group and i just got an 02 f4i.  the bike's got 9500 miles on it and is in pretty good shape.  My question is that  I start the bike and let it warm up but when it gets warm it the temp gauge doesnt work.  Any body had that problem before. What could be the problem? can i fix it.  Next on the list is the fi light is staying on.  I figure that i need new plugs which i've already purchased but if that doesn't work what is it indicating.  Also could there be a bulb out in the nuetral position or a sensor gone bad.  Any suggestions Thanks.

Get a claimer manual for this bike. Nutral switch is in the side of the tranny case on the left side. Temp switch is in the radiator right side I think. not sure about the f1 light. the manual ha wiring schematics in it then you can check it out.
