crappy kickstand

I can't start my bike with the kickstand down.  why is that and where and how is the sensor to disable that feature.  should i pull it from the top where the ecu is or at the bottom  where the kickstand is

Is this a f41, RR or f4?

Can't say that I've come accross this on the F4, might be that the bike is in gear, and not neutral. The bike will not start if the stand is out and it's in gear. Then also if the stand is out and you put the bik into a gear, it will also cut the motor.

The switch is located behind or close to the stand...
You see it's a small black box with wiring running into it.

Maybe check first to see if the Neutral Light is working, and if the bike does goe into neutral.

Might be a false neutral??
